Chapter Nineteen

Tatiana

I woke to strong arms and manly scent. Donato pulled me toward him and said, “Good morning gorgeous. Tylenol?”

“No, I’m okay.” I groaned.

“Do you want some breakfast?”

“No.”

“Do you have a headache?”

“Not really.”

“Tea?”

“Sure.”

He left and came back with a cup of lemon tea and assured me it would help my stomach. I sat and drank my cup little by little. And he stared at me.

“What?” I asked.

“Nothing… Gio is in love and I am pretty sure Vinny has a crush on your sister. He asked me which airline she worked for and if she did international flights.”

“I told you about Gio. And really? Vin and Cristina? I like them together too.”

“Okay, hold on. One love match at a time. ”

“Gio is in love, D. Luisa is an amazing woman. This is perfect. What time did they come back last night?”

He said, “Late,” in a baritone voice.

“Do you think they—”

“According to him, nothing happened, but he had a little grin on his face.”

“I am good at this. Did he say anything to you?”

D could not help but smile. “We are leaving in two days, but I think she agreed to a date.”

“Cute.” I took a couple more sips from my tea and found his arms again.

“Tati, do not meddle anymore.” He ran his hands over my arms and back. “Let them find their way. If it is going to happen, it will.”

“Okay, I’ll behave. I’ll call Cristina to see which country she’s in,” I said with a chuckle.

“Tati…”

“She is my sister and I am in Europe.”

“Tati, Vin met some college kids who were staying at a hostel, and they all left for France by train. He told me he changed his flight and he will leave from Paris back to Florida. Doesn’t Cristina have a boyfriend?”

“Papi, I am well ahead of you. I know Vin left. I made him a list of things he has to see in Paris. Cristina broke up with Bill—the motherfucker cheated on her. She came in one night without calling him to surprise him on his birthday and caught him naked and getting it on with some girl in their shower.”

“Whoa. What? Who would do that?”

“Yep. I am very lucky to have you. But just so you know, if you ever do anything like that, believe me you will not live to tell the tale. At the very least I will cut it off.” I grabbed his cock, making him jump up.

He laughed. “Oh really?”

“You bet your ass.” I squeezed a little tighter, making him squeal.

“Tati,” he said, trying to get out of my grip. We laughed and he grabbed me tight against him, pulling me in for a kiss.

“Anyway, please don’t get into this.”

“Okay, fine. I’ll let them find themselves. My sister does international flights to Paris on a regular basis anyway,” I said with a grin. Of course I didn’t tell him Vinny asked me about her schedule and I gave him the information he needed. “The house is silent. Where is everybody?”

“Dad, Dante, Alonza, and Luisa are at the bakery, and, of course, Gio went with them after his run this morning.
